SU ONARAN
Product designer, born in 1993 in Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated in product design at the Istituto Europeo di Design Milan in 2015.
She designs an RGB 3D lamp exhibited at the IED university for Davide Groppi and a kitchen with show-cooking concept for Valcucine.
She collaborate with renowned luxury brands such as Prada, Miu Miu, Moncler, Off-White, Guess, Liu Jo.
In 2021 she began collaborating as a designer with Marzoarreda and designed ‘Sini’, bringing together her own cultural roots and experiences of Italian tradition and design.
In Islamic culture, ”Sini” whose Persian meaning is ‘to embrace’ since the 14th century is a tray used to welcome and host.
Symbol of hospitality, the SINI is intertwined with the elegant Italian style and gives life to an object of design and union.
A sustainable product inspired by Italian and Turkish history, culture and traditions.
From the encounter between Turkish and Italian designers and master craftsmen, SINI is born, a coffee table that has its roots in two millenary cultures.
